incomplete assortment #1

luna;

like the tides, swayed by the dance of luna-
churning inwards towards the rocks. the froth leaving impressions on the shore line
only to be yanked violently back out into the deepest, darkest depths.
waves fifty foot high reaching towards the clouds with their liquid hands
yet never reaching high enough to grab them- always just beyond their grasp.

shire;

in a quiet little shire, surrounded by luscious green trees,
little blue birds whistling and sporadic woodland critters.
the village was blessed in the ray of the sun, it's glorious light showered the people with glee.
houses made like huts, built of twigs, brick and mud.
during the summer months, the crop grew and grew, harvests were plentiful.
little rivers ran through the town, never flooding of straying from their path.
they twisted and turned towards the irrigation and water each plant,
cradle them again it's liquid breast.
the people of the shire dances around all day,
not a single thing was problematic, not a single matter was to be worried.
drought has struck and survived they sure did, as well as flood and even fire, nothing was too great of a feat.
the townspeople were handled with care from the gods above,
be it from olympus or the skies, the underworld or the plains they grace themselves.

distance v. immediacy;

the most intense feeling of freedom i ever felt
was when i was pushing myself closer to you.

my, my, look at you;

my, my, look at you. you have come so far from beginnings.
set with off with feathers of lead, two tonne wings.
my, my, look at you. you evolved from cherub to seraph.
blossomed into something beautiful, despite the cold.
sculpted from the sword's stone.
